V-Core Records was started up in December 2008 by DJ Jay-Owen and DJ Matt S, two young Belgian DJ's from Brussels, as a project to help young talented producers, DJ's and MC's to get their name out there and help them sell their records to a wider audience. It was also made with the hope to kick-start a new hardcore scene in the heart of Europe, where hardcore is currently almost completely inexistant. Hopefully a new scene will be created in not only the capitol, but also the rest of Belgium.
